Description
Rioja Reserva: A Timeless Classic
La Villa inspires on the nose with its dark berry aroma, accompanied by subtle notes of vanilla and almonds, on the palate it presents itself full-bodied, extremely offensive and with tremendous concentration. The perfect structure between fruitiness and barrique influences is reflected in a very long finish. La Villa is a top Rioja that perfectly reflects the elegance and history of the original city of Murillo de Rio Leza.
Production
The grapes for La Villa, of which about 85% are Tempranillo, are harvested extremely selectively and separately and then carefully processed. The wine goes through an aging process of 24 months in American oak barrels, followed by another 24 months in the bottle before finally being released for sale.

Wonderful with beef – from steaks to stroganoff to tartare or slow-cooked roast from the oven. The perfect accompaniment to the intense roasted aromas of grilled dishes - whether steaks, vegetables or BBQ pieces. Also excellent with mature hard cheese - from Parmigiano Reggiano to Sbrinz to Pecorino or older alpine cheese.
What Makes Rioja Reserva Stand Out?
Rioja Reserva wines, like the La Villa Rioja from Paco Garcia, are crafted to deliver complexity and balance. These wines undergo extended aging, both in oak barrels and bottles, which enhances their flavor profile. Because of this process, you can expect layers of dark fruit, spice, and vanilla in every sip. However, it's not just about the taste—it’s also about the tradition behind each bottle.
The Flavor Profile of La Villa Rioja
When you pour yourself a glass of La Villa Rioja Reserva, you're greeted by an aromatic bouquet that combines ripe cherries and plums with hints of tobacco and leather. The tannins are soft yet present, making for a velvety texture on your palate. So whether you're pairing it with grilled meats or enjoying it on its own, this red wine offers a delightful experience. Additionally, the long finish leaves a memorable impression.
